Petra Sajkas creates unique porcelain objects, playfully experimenting with both functional and decorative designs.
She uses porcelain for its simple and beautiful perfection. Her shapes evoke the lightness and tight lines of blown up objects and her designs are inspired by the flexibility of plastic.
From the tiniest tea candle to her larger installations and sculptures, her work shows inspiring originality, playfulness and a sense of humour in her choice of forms and scrupulous attention to the smallest, distinctive detail.
Her objects range from small decorative porcelains; lights, vases, bowls and cases to larger installations, wall hangings and sculptures.
